Goals for life NYC
Founded in 2024, the Goals For Life NYC Foundation began with a small group of passionate coaches, executives, players, and community leaders who saw the power of soccer to transform lives. Backed by the expertise of DV7 Academy and the leadership of international soccer professionals, our mission is simple: To provide inclusive, development-focused soccer programs that inspire joy, build character, and create lasting community impact. What started as a grassroots initiative has grown into a movement to bring the DV7 playing philosophy and values into underserved communities across NYC, and eventually around the United States.

At our nonprofit, founded by DV7 Group, we believe that meaningful impact starts with a strong, diverse team. We are committed to building an environment where every individual feels safe, valued, and respected. Our strength comes from the unique perspectives and experiences of each team member. We embrace differences in age, race, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, physical ability, thinking style, identity, and background, recognizing that these differences are vital to our success and the communities we serve. We strive to create a culture where everyone can thrive, bring their authentic selves, and contribute their best work. This commitment is reflected in who we hire, the programs we lead, and the impact we create through soccer and community engagement. Together, we are building a team, and a movement, that listens, learns, and leads with purpose. To develop and deliver youth soccer programs that prioritize inclusion, personal growth, and love for the game, built on a foundation of values that reflect the spirit of DV7.

Our Core Principles
Our programs are guided by six foundational principles that shape every training session, every match, and every interaction
- Everyone Deserves to Play - We believe that every child should have the chance to experience the joy of soccer, regardless of ability or background.
- Balanced Opportunities - We create teams that are fair and balanced, giving players of all skill levels the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute.
- Open and Accessible - We work to remove barriers to participation. Our programs are designed to be affordable, inclusive, and community-centered.
- Positive Coaching - Our coaches are trained to lead with positivity, empathy, and professionalism, focusing on long-term development over short-term results.
- Respect and Sportsmanship - We teach our players to win with humility, lose with dignity, and always respect the game and each other.
- Player-Centered Development - Our focus is on each child's growth, technically, tactically, physically, and emotionally, so they can reach their full potential both on and off the pitch.

We work with youth ages 4–18, particularly in communities where access to organized soccer is limited. Through school partnerships, community centers, and local outreach, we’re creating opportunities where they’ve never existed before.
